Mr. Donati has a unique background with 27 years of experience in all phases of product design, manufacturing and corporate management related to test and Defense programs. Mr. Donati joined Elgar in September 1991. Over the past 15 years, he has been responsible for many focused, high-impact efforts. As Director of Program Management, he was responsible for the extremely successful U.S. Navy CASS Power Subsystem Program. As Vice President − Special Projects, he was responsible for the growth of the Space Power Product line into a worldwide industry standard. As Vice President, Engineered Solutions Group, Mr. Donati is responsible for Elgar’s system integration business, a growing and dynamic portion of the Company’s business. Prior to joining Elgar, Mr. Donati worked in the Aerospace and Entertainment industries. For 10 years at Aerojet Ordnance Company, he fulfilled successive responsibilities in Program Management, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering and Test Engineering. Mr. Donati was involved with all aspects of ordnance design, manufacturing, and test through his tenure and, in the later years, was responsible for program management of state of the art ordnance programs. At Walt Disney Company (Disneyland), Mr. Donati was a systems engineer for two years and was a member of an engineering team that was responsible for roller coaster ride control systems design and design improvement upgrades. Mr. Donati holds a BSEET from Cogswell Polytechnic College in San Francisco and has attended the Stanford Executive Institute. |
